City of San Marcos Bond Proposition No.6 Shall the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, be authorized to issue and sell the bonds of said City in the aggregate principal amount of $1,185,000, for the purpose of constructing and improving pedestrian and bicycle ways and facilities, including sidewalks, pedestrian crossways and trails; with said bonds to be issued in one or more series or issues, to mature serially or otherwise and bear interest at such rate or rates, not to exceed the respective limits prescribed by law at the time of issuance, and to be sold at such price or prices, as the City Council in its discretion shall determine; and shall there be levied and pledged, assessed and collected annually ad valorem taxes on all taxable property in said city in an amount sufficient to pay the annual interest on said bonds and provide a sinking fund to pay said bonds at maturity? Section 3. Precincts and Polling Places. The election precincts for said election only, being the county election precincts, and the polling place for each such precinct on election day, are set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto, which is incorporated herein by reference and made a part hereof for all purposes. Section 4. Early Voting. The Main Early Voting Polling Place and the Temporary Branch Early Voting Polling Places for conducting early voting by personal appearance, and the address for early voting by mail, for said election only are set forth in Exhibit A attached hereto. Section 5. Voting Hours; Period for Early Voting by Personal Appearance. (a) On election day the polls shall be open from 7:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. (b) The dates and hours for early voting by personal appearance at the Main Early Voting Polling Place and at the respective Temporary Branch Early Voting Polling Places shall be as set forth in Exhibit A hereto. Section 6. Electronic Voting System; Ballots; Central Counting Station. (a) An electronic voting system shall be used in said election. Said system shall be used for all early voting as well as for all precinct voting conducted on election day. Sufficient voting equipment to accommodate the voters shall be provided for early voting and at each of the polling places on election day. (b) The electronic ballots shall be prepared in accordance with the applicable provisions of V. T.C.A. Election Code so as to permit the voters to vote "FOR" or "AGAINST" the aforesaid propositions, which shall be set forth in substantially the following form: 3
