<br />2.7 <br /> <br />The CITY shall furnish required information and services and <br /> <br />shall render responses and conduct its review of written materials as <br /> <br />expeditiously as possible. <br /> <br />2.8 <br /> <br />The CITY shall pay all costs incident to obtaining bids or <br /> <br />proposals from contractors. <br /> <br />2.9 <br /> <br />The CITY shall either direct the ARCHITECT to perform any and <br /> <br />all Additional Services necessary to complete the project(s) or shall <br />furnish such services itself. <br /> <br />2.10 <br /> <br />The CITY shall pay all fees for filing and processing permits <br /> <br />in connection with the project(s). <br /> <br />2.11 <br />2.12 <br /> <br />The CITY shall bear all costs incident to this Article. <br /> <br />CITY <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />provide <br /> <br />its <br /> <br />standard <br /> <br />construction <br /> <br />contract <br /> <br />documents which do not include plans or technical specifications, to <br /> <br />the ARCHITECT prior to commencement of the design phase, Section 1.2. <br /> <br />2.13 <br /> <br />CITY shall provide the ARCHITECT with the accounting basis <br /> <br />for billing acceptable to the CITY and the FAA. <br /> <br />2.14 <br /> <br />CITY <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />furnish <br /> <br />all <br /> <br />necessary <br /> <br />field <br /> <br />surveys <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />geotechnical investigations which are required to provide design data. <br /> <br />Field surveys for construction puposes generally include the layout of <br /> <br />structures, <br /> <br />pipelines, <br /> <br />roadways, <br /> <br />quantity <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />measurement <br /> <br />determinations <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />surveys <br /> <br />required to establish locaiton of <br /> <br />land <br /> <br />boundaries and corners. <br /> <br />Geotechnical investigations determine site, <br /> <br />soil <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />subsurface <br /> <br />data needed <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />design. <br /> <br />The ARCHITECT <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />establish the scope of said surveys and investigations as set forth in <br /> <br />Article 1, paragraph 1.5. <br /> <br />2.15 <br /> <br />In <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />event <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />city requires <br /> <br />resident <br /> <br />inspection <br /> <br />services <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />performed <br /> <br />on the <br /> <br />project, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />shall <br /> <br />provide <br /> <br />building space suitable for use as an office, the storage of records, <br /> <br />drawings, files, samples, contractor submittals and other work related <br /> <br />material nnr.j 1 thirtv (30) days following completion of the project. <br />The space shall be air conditioned and shall be immediately adjacent to <br /> <br />the project location. <br /> <br />-11- <br />
