In the event that the meter has been tested at the <br />customer's request within the previous four years and the meter is <br />found to be within the accuracy standards established by the <br />American National Standards Institute, then the charge shall apply. <br /> <br />THEFT OF BERVICE: <br /> <br />The Minimum Charge will be made for any incidence of tampering <br />with the meter installation, interference with the proper working <br />thereof, any theft of service by any person on Customer's premises, <br />or evidence of such tampering, interfering, or theft (energy <br />diversion). The Minimum Charge shall be imposed for the detection <br />and confirmation of energy diversion. <br /> <br />In addition, the Customer shall pay the reconnect charge, the <br />expenses of damage to or replacement of the City's equipment and <br />the estimated cost of power and energy not recorded on meter by <br />reason of energy diversion at the applicable rate using the City's <br />best estimated data. <br /> <br />DELINQUENT BILL COLLECTION CHARGE: <br /> <br />The charge, not to exceed $5.00, shall be made when a special <br />contact of any type is required to collect a delinquent payment. <br /> <br />9/6/88 <br /> <br />- 31 - <br />
