<br />109 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1988-108R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING THE TER!"1S AND <br />CONOI T IONS OF AN AGREEMENT FOR GEO'rECHN ICAL <br />SERVICES WITH TERRA-MAR, INC., ENGINEERING AND <br />GEOTECHNICAL CONSULTANTS, IN CONNECTION WITH <br />THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF FUNCTIONAL <br />REPLACMENT FACILITIES FOR GARY JOB CORPS <br />CENTER, SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID AGREMENT ON BEHALF OF <br />SAID CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the ci ty of San Marcos desi res to obta in <br />professional geotechnical testing services in connection with the <br />design and construction of functional replacement facili ties for <br />Gary Job Corps Center, San !\1arcos, Texas, to effectua te a land <br />transfer from the United States Department of Labor to said City; <br />and, <br /> <br />\AjHEREAS, Ter ra-~1ar , Inc. , eng ineer i ng and geotechnical <br />consultants is qualified to perform said services; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN l'-1ARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the terms and cond i tions of an agreement wi th <br />Terra-Mar, Inc., for professional geotechnical testing services, a <br />copy of said agreement being attached hereto and made a part <br />hereof, are hereby approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the Mayor, Kathy M. Morris, be and she is <br />hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of said <br />City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
