STATE OF TEXAS COON'lY OF HAYS )( ) ( THIS AGREEMENT made, entered into, and executed this II day of October, 1988, by and between the City of San Marcœ-, Texas, organized and existing under the laws of the State of Texas and situated in Hays County, Texas, acting through authority conferred on by its Mayor or his designee, hereinafter called "CMNERA and Terra-Mar, Inc. , Consulting Engineers and Geotechnical Consultants, hereinafter called "CONSULTANT". WHEREAS, the CMNER desires to obtain geotechnical services in connection with the design of the following, hereinafter called the "PROJ:EX:'l'" : (a) Site 1 - Occupations Explorations Program Building (b) Site 2 - Recreational Building; ( c ) Site 3 - Masonry /Maintenance Building; (d) Site 4 - Drivers Training Range: (e) Site 5 - Heavy Equipnent Building, (OEP) : WHE:RFJ\S, the CMNER desires to obtain professional geotechnical testing services in oonnection with the PROJæT to make geotechnical testing related to the five proposed building/paving sites in acoor- dance with the limits shown on the attached Geotechnical Testing Maps. WHEREAS, the COOSULTANT is quailf ied and capable of perfonning the professional services proposed herein, is acceptable to the CMNER, and is willing to enter into a contract with the œNER to perform such services .
