County Plat Records: Lots 1-8 of the Whisenant Addition to the City of San Marcos in Hays County, Texas as recorded in Volume 158, Page 283 of the Hays County Deed Records; Lot 9 of the Jack Thomas Second Addition to the City of an Marcos as recorded in Volume 92, Page 538 of the Hays County Deed Records; Lots 9 and 10 of the Alex Glasscock First Addition as recorded in Volume 81, Page 488 of the Hays County Deed Records; Block 2, Lots 1-6 and Block 3, Lots 1-6 of the J.B. Wilson First Addition to the City of San Marcos as recorded in Volume 68, Page 28 of the Hays County Deed Records and 0.344 acres out of the J.M. Veramendi League No.1 also being a part of Lots Nos. 10, 11 and 24 of the Jack Thomas Second Addition to the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the Southeast boundary of Porter Street at the West corner of Lot No. Nine (9) of the JACK THOMAS SECOND ADDITION to the City of San Marcos for the North corner this tract; THENCE S. 45 deg. W. with the Southeast line of Porter Street 100 feet to a point for the West corner of this tract and the North corner of the tract of land which was conveyed by W.G. Phillips and wife, to the Housing Authority of the City of San Marcos by Deed dated November 15,1951 recorded in Volume 151, page 376 of the Deed Records of Hays County, Texas: THENCE S. Au thori ty 45 deg. E. with the Northeast line of said housing Tract 150 feet to the East corner thereof; THENCE N. 45 deg. E. 100 feet to a point in the Northeast line of Lot No. Ten (10) of the JACK THOMAS SECOND ADDITION for the East corner of this tract; THENCE N. 45 deg. W. 150 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING. SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its passage and after it has been subject to reconsideration by the Council at its next regular meeting following its passage, and providing that the Council did not vote to reconsider it. If reconsidered on November 28, 1988, it shall be in effect ten days from and after its passage on that date if approved. It shall not go into effect if denied. If not reconsidered or if reconsidered and approved it shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas.
