Carroll, Terry Colley, Betty Stansbury, Ken Claybourn, <br />Jake Krauskopf, Larry Franks, Allyn Gill and others. <br />Mayor Craddock called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration adoption of an Ordinance <br />on emergency, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, SETTING FORTH AN ITEMIZED ESTIMATE <br /> OF THE EXPENSE OF CONDUCTING EACH ADMINISTRATIVE UNIT <br /> OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL <br /> YEAR BEGINNING ON OCTOBER 1, 1984 AND ENDING ON SEPTEM- <br /> BER 30, 1985, AND APPROPRIATING MONEY FOR THE VARIOUS <br /> FUNDS AND PURPOSES OF SUCH ESTIMATE; APPROPRIATING MONEY <br /> TO PAY INTEREST AND PRINCIPAL SINKING FUND REQUIREMENTS <br /> ON ALL INDEBTEDNESS; APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM REVENUE <br /> SHARING ENTITLEMENT NO. 16; PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE <br /> FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES AND APPROPRIATIONS IN <br /> CONFLICT WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE; AUTHOR- <br /> IZING LINE ITEM ADJUSTMENTS WITHIN ADMINISTRATIVE UNIT <br /> ACCOUNTS WITH TEE APPROVAL OF THE CITY MANAGER AS PRO- <br /> VIDED IN SECTION 8.17 OF THE CHARTER AND DECLARING AN <br /> EMERGENCY. <br />Mr. Guerra moved for adoption of the Ordinance and Ms. Kissler seconded <br />the motion. The City Manager passed out to the Council revisions re- <br />quested to be made on the third pass adjustments to the General Fund <br />and Utility Fund. Mayor Craddock moved that the revisions to the <br />General Fund be made and brought back to the Council and Mr. Brown <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Craddock moved <br />that the revisions to the Utility Fund be made and brought back to the <br />Council and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mr. Guerra moved the appropriate revisions be made regarding the <br />City employees workmen's compensation and hospitalization coverage <br />and brought back to the Council, and Mayor Craddock seconded the mo- <br />tion, which passed unanimously. The Council discussed possible uses <br />of the fund balance in the General and Utility Funds, and Mr. Brown <br />* Mr. Moore was not present at this meeting. <br />
