-3- SECT IN 600. AMENDMENT. A site plan which is disapproved may be amended and resubmitted by the subdivider concurrently with the corresponding subdivision plat, whereupon the necessary changes have been made to address the reasons for original disapproval. Amendments made to an approved site plan shall be subject to the same content and procedural requirements as a newly submitted site plan. SECTION 700. ENFORCEMENT. No building permit shall be issued for construction on any lot regulated by this article unless the plans for such construction are in compliance with the requirements of the approved site plan, and no Certificate of Occupancy may be issued until all such measures, including landscaping and screening, have been installed or constructed in accordance with the plans. SECTION 800. VARIANCE AND APPEALS. 801. Variances to the requirements of this article shall be made to the Planning and Zoning Commissions, who shall act on a variance request by joint vote, in accordance with the applicable procedures for variances contained in Appendix C of the City Code, Subdivisions. 802. Appeals of a disapproved site plan shall be made by written petition to the City Council. Said appeal request shall be made to the City Secretary within 10 days of the Commissions' action. The appeal petition shall include the reasons for such appeal of the Commissions. action. SECTION 2. That this Ordinance shall be in effect ten (10) days from and after its passage, and it shall be published in a ne\iISpaper of general circulation in the area as required by the Charter of the City of San Marcos, Texas.
