Farr <br />Council Members Karl W. Brown <br />Bill Coddington <br />Fred Guerra <br />Betty Jane Kissler <br />Jaime Moore <br /> <br />City Manager A. C. Gonzalez <br />City Secretary Janis K. Womack <br />City Attorney Lamar W. Hankins <br />Director Env. and Engineering Steve Jenkins <br />Director Adm. Services Dinah Elwell <br />Acting Director of Finance Wayne Moore <br />Director of Public Works George Boeker <br />Director of Planning Frank Robbins <br /> <br />Also Present: Gregg Echols, Mark Hendricks, Jim Gandy, Chuck Paul, <br />Gary Thompson, Terry Colley, Lupe Picassio, Jesse Guerra, Betty Stans- <br />bury, Vince VandeWalle, Scott McGee, and others. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the <br />Regular ~eeting held September 24, 1984. Mr. Guerra moved for approval <br />and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the <br />Emergency Meeting held September 26, 1984. Mr. Brown moved for approv- <br />al and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr introduced for consideration approval of two appointments to <br />the Library Board. Mr. Farr moved to appoint Sandy Stouffer and Ms. <br />Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Brown <br />stated he would like to see the other appointment be a person to pro- <br />vide minority representation on this Board. Mr. Guerra moved the other <br />appointment be tabled until October 22 and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr introduced for consideration approval of three appointments to <br />the Planning Commission. Mr. Coddington moved to reappoint Gayle Ross, <br />Mike Moore and Gwen Smith to the Planning Commission and Ms. Kissler <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr introduced for consideration approval of three appointments <br />to the Zoning Commission. Mr. Coddington moved to reappoint Brenda <br />Smith and Joe Cox to the Zoning Commission and Ms. Kissler seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Guerra moved to table the <br />third appointment to October 22 and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, <br />which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr introduced for consideration approval of one appointment to <br />the Sunset Advisory Commission to fill the vacancy to Brenda Smith. <br />Mr. Guerra moved to appoint Rosie Farias and Mr. Coddington seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mr. Farr introduced for consideration approval of an appointment to <br />the Historic Preservation Commission to fill the vacancy of Aart Mille- <br />cam, as the member of this Commission who is also a member of the Plan- <br />ning Commission. Mr. Farr moved to appoint Gwen Smith to fill the <br /> <br />* Mayor Craddock was not present at this meeting. <br />
