<br />115 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Regular Meeting November 19, 1984 Page 8 <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration award oftid on the Janitor- <br />ial Maintenance Contract for City Hall and award of the alternate bid <br />for Janitorial Maintenance Contract for the Public Works Trailer. <br />Mayor Craddock moved to award the contract for City Hall to Gene <br />Bagwell d/b/a Maintenance Management of San Marcos, Texas in the <br />amount of $24,300.00 and Mr. Farr seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Farr moved to award the alternate bid for the Public <br />Works Trailer to Gene Bagwell d/b/a Maintenance Management of San Mar- <br />cos at the rate of $225.00 per month once the Public Works Trailer is <br />set up and Mayor Craddock seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration authorization to bid the <br />restoration of the Fish Hatchery Building. Mayor Craddock moved to <br />authorize bidding and Mr. Farr seconded the motion. Mr. Farr moved <br />an addendum be added to the contract to provide one of the additional <br />storage buildings be renovated to match the Fish Hatchery and the other <br />one be removed and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion, which passed <br />unanimously. Mr. Coddington moved an addendum be added to the contract for <br />berming for the theater seating and Mr. Farr seconded the motion. On <br />roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Brown, Coddington, Farr, Craddock, Kissler. <br /> <br />NAY: Guerra. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br /> <br />The Council then voted unanimously for authorization to go to bids <br />on the restoration of the Fish Hatchery Building. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration authorization to bid reno- <br />vation of the Rio Vista Park Patrol Station and Parks and Recreation <br />Office Building. Mayor Craddock moved to authorize bidding and Mr. Farr <br />seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Council directed lo- <br />cal contractors be added to the bid list to send invitations to. <br /> <br />I1ayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to retain Charles <br />Willis and Associates to update the Airport Master Plan and direction <br />to Staff to prepare the contract. Mayor Craddock moved to table this <br />item until such time the contract is prepared and Mr. Brown seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval to change the Regu- <br />lar Meeting dates in December from December 10 and 24 to December 3 and <br />17. Mayor Craddock moved the dates be changed to December 3 and 17 and <br />Mr. Coddington seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced a discussion of street maintenance/reconstruc- <br />tion. Mr. Boeker reviewed with Council his memorandum of November 14, <br />1984 to A. C. Gonzalez (a copy is attached to these minutes) which would <br />provide a method by which street maintenance and/or reconstruction <br />priorities could be established. He stated this program would not <br />affect the bond program and also said the Class III listing would <br />not be available for one year. <br /> <br />The next two items on the agenda were taken out of order of the Agenda <br />upon request of the Council. Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration <br />award of bid for three used automobiles for the criminal investigation <br />section of the Police Department. Mr. Galchutt recommended rebidding <br />
