<br />Chapter 2 <br /> <br />Sector Six Today <br /> <br />Airport <br />The San Marcos Municipal Airport is a public aviation airport, owned, administered, and <br />maintained by the City of San Marcos. It covers 1,366 acres, with 4 runways and <br />supporting infrastructure. It has 130 based airplanes and facilitates 50,000 operations per <br />year. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Rail Service <br />A Union Pacific Railroad track runs through Sector Six, which average 8-10 trains per <br />day.
