<br />85. <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />JOINT ELECTION AGREEMENT BETWEEN HAYS COUNTY <br />AND THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> <br />This Joint Election Agreement is made this the 4th day of Octoberr, 2005, between <br />the City of San Marcos, Texas, (the "City") 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666 and <br />Hays County (the "County"), 102 North L.B.J. Drive, San Marcos, Texas 78666, pursuant to <br />Chapter 271 ofthe Texas Election Code. <br /> <br />The City and the County agree as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City and the County agree jointly to hold an election. The joint election <br />will be held at the various polling places and election precincts hereinafter designated within the <br />corporate limits of the City, and within the boundaries of the County, on November 8, 2005, <br />from the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., at which joint election the qualified voters of the City <br />will consider six bond propositions, and elect a City Council Member for Place 3 and a City <br />Council Member for Place 4, and the qualified voters of the County will consider State <br />Constitutional Amendment propositions. <br /> <br />Section 2. The election precincts for the City election shall be substantially the same <br />precincts as those Election Precincts of the County which are within the corporate limits of the <br />City, and for the County the election precincts shall be all Election Precincts of the County. <br /> <br />Section 3.
