<br />46 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Regular Meeting January 13, 1986 Page 9 <br /> <br /> <br />Honeycutt stated the County is being requested to contribute an equal <br />amount to the City's contribution, and unofficially the City is commit- <br />ting to $20,000.00 support for the loop. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for discussion the Social Service Agency <br />Board Ordinance and direction to Staff. Mr. Parr stated he wanted <br />each Council Member to appoint a member to the Social Service Agency <br />who resides in the City and that no Council Members are to serve on <br />this Board. It was consensus of Council for the nominations to be <br />given to the City Secretary by Friday, January 17 and to be formally <br />voted on at a meeting in the near future. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for discussion an intern position to work <br />under Terry Colley and direction for a Budget Amendment Ordinance to <br />be prepared if the position is approved. The Council was in favor of <br />an Intern position to work under Mr. Colley and that $3,588.00 from <br />Contingency be placed in the budget. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced the receiving of a final report from the <br />Greater San Marcos Area Council of Neighborhood Association Neighbor- <br />hood/Community Concerns Survey. Frank Rich reviewed a written report <br />with the Council of the concerns of the citizens, a copy of which is <br />attached to these minutes. <br /> <br />Mayor Craddock introduced for consideration approval of an appointment <br />to the Tourist Development Committee. Mayor Craddock nominated Bill <br />Coddington. Mr. Brown nominated the Mayor Pro-Tem position to serve <br />on the Tourist Development Committee. On roll call the following vote <br />was recorded~ <br /> <br />CODDINGTON: Craddock. <br /> <br />MAYOR PRO-TEM: Brown, Farr, Guerra, Nicola. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br /> <br />(Mr. Coddington was not present to vote on this item). <br /> <br />Mr. Farr moved to adjourn into Executive Session pursuant to Article <br />6252-17, §§2 (e), (f), (g), V.A.C.S., to discuss matters where the duties <br />of the City Attorney to the City pursuant to the Code of Professional <br />Responsibility of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Article <br />6252-17; purchase and exchange of real property¡ reassignment of a <br />public officer or employee, respectively, and Mr. Guerra seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously (11:13 p.m.). <br /> <br />Mr. Guerra moved to reconvene at 11:56 p.m. and Mr. Nicola seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 11:57 made by Mr. Guerra and <br />seconded by Mayor Craddock. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />\ <br /> <br /> <br />Eil glèo /- <br />~counCil.
