56 MINUTES OF Tlæ REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, JANUARY 27, 1986 PRESENT: Mayor * Emmie Craddock Mayor Pro-Tempore Fred Guerra Council Members Karl w. Brown Bill Coddington Gerald G. Farr Betty Jane Kissler William C. Nicola City Manager A. C. Gonzalez City Secretary Janis K. Womack City Attorney Lamar W. Hankins Assistant City Manager Robert T. lierrera Director of Env. and Engineering Steve Jenkins Police Chief Myron Galchutt Director of Planning Frank Robbins Director of Public Works George Boeker Director of Parks and Recreation Rodney Cobb Also Present: Mark Hendricks, L. E. Dupont, Mrs. Stanley Ault, Melissa Millecam, Tom WAtts, Linda King, Jay Moore, David Williford, Bud Walker, Tom Allen, Mo Johnson, Patsy Greiner, Jim Gandy, Dan Gibson, David Young, Allyn Gill and others. Mayor Pro-Tempore Guerra called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Guerra introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Emergency f.1eeting held January 9, 1986. l1r. Coddington moved for approv- al and Mr. Farr seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Coddington, Farr, Guerra. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Kissler, Nicola. Mr. Guerra introduced for consideration approval of the minutes of the Regular Meeting held January 13, 1986. Mr. Brown moved for approval and Ivlr. Coddington seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Brown, Coddington, Farr, Guerra, Nicola. NAY: None. ABSTAIN: Kissler. Mr. Guerra introduced for consideration approval of seven appointments to a temporary board to be called Social Service Agency Board. Mr. Farr moved to nominate Gregg Echols, John Kreczmer, Eugene Hildebrandt, Cathy Lewellin, ,-Tane Rice, Gloria Pimentel and Frank Fuller and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Guerra introduced for consideration approval of five appointments to the Fair housing Commission. Mr. Coddington moved to reappoint all five members who are presently serving on this Commission, and they are Dan Farlow, James E. Smith, Margie Villalpando, Ollie Giles and Geneva Gomez and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. * Mayor Craddock was not present at this meeting.
