<br />Chapter 1 Development Procedures - Article 2 Authority oj Decision-Makers <br /> <br />Section 1.2.5.6 <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Notice of hearing before the ZBOA is required as follows: <br /> <br />(a) The ZBOA shall hold a public hearing on all applications, appeals and relief petitions, <br />and written notice of the public hearing shall be sent to the applicant or appellant, all <br />persons who are owners of real property within 200 feet of the property for which the <br />application, petition or appeal is made, as indicated by the most recently approved <br />municipal tax roll, and all other persons deemed by the ZBOA to be affected thereby. <br /> <br />(b) The notice shall be given not less than ten days before the date set for the hearing. <br />The notice shall be delivered personally or through the U.S. Postal Service. <br /> <br />(c) Notice of the proceedings shall be posted in accordance with Article 3, Division 2 of <br />this Chapter I - Notice Requirements. <br /> <br />Division 6: Historic Preservation Commission <br /> <br />Section 1.2.6.1 <br /> <br />Structure of Commission <br /> <br />(a) Composition. The Historic Preservation Commission shall consist of seven persons, <br />appointed by the City Council from the following sources: <br /> <br />(1) One member shall be a resident of the City or its extraterritorial jurisdiction, <br />or shall be employed in the City or its extraterritorial jurisdiction, and shall be <br />from the architecture or design field of expertise. <br /> <br />(2) Two members shall be citizens of the City who have demonstrated an interest <br />in the history of the City. <br /> <br />(3) One member shall be a property owner or resident from the San Antonio <br />historic district. <br /> <br />(4) One member shall be a property owner or resident from the Belvin Street <br />historic district. <br /> <br />(5) One member shall be a property owner or business owner within the <br />downtown historic district. <br /> <br />(6) One member shall be a property owner or resident from the Dunbar historic <br />district. <br /> <br />City oj San Marcos, Texas <br /> <br />1-22 <br /> <br />Land Development Code - Final <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />It <br /> <br />, <br />
