Kinds of Data to be Collected: The data to be collected includes that which is required by grant standards, carmmity cr:ilœ statistics, Neighborl100d Watch cr:ilœ statistics, intelligence files relating to criIœ trends within the City, breakdowns of ti1œ spent in each crime prevention acti vi ty, and lists of crime victims to contact for followup interviews to give criIœ prevention training. d. Other Participating/Cooperating Organizations: '!he following is a list of the organizations that the Coordinator \\Urks with to prœote crime prevention. 'Ihese organiztions and their IÆ'!rnbers do not necessarily ~rk on the project, but they do contribute manpower to giving crime prevention saninars. 'li1ese groups are: San Marcos Chamber of Ccmnerce Crime Prevention COilllcil, participants assisted in presenting city wide efforts to havë engravers in all pililic wildings to encourage participation in Operation Identification¡ Hays/Caldwell Council on Drug Abuse, participants assist in canpiling m:r statistics and other drug and alcohol rraterial for presentations to the public ¡ San Marcos Lioness Club, participants assisted in child fingerprinting and bicycle registration program¡ San Marcos NeighOOrl100d Association, participants encourage residents to actively involve. themselves in a Neighborhood Watch program¡ San Marcos Independent School District, school officials provide the t.iIœ for criIre prevention officers to make presentations within the claSS:roœ1S. The other civic and business organizations in the carmuni ty such as Lions, Rota1:y, and Sertana have provided formns in which criIœ prevention training can be given. 4.
