Other Participating/Cooperating Organizations: <br /> '!he following is a list of the organizations that the Coordinator \\Urks <br /> with to prœote crime prevention. 'Ihese organiztions and their IÆ'!rnbers do not <br /> necessarily ~rk on the project, but they do contribute manpower to giving <br /> crime prevention saninars. 'li1ese groups are: San Marcos Chamber of Ccmnerce <br /> Crime Prevention COilllcil, participants assisted in presenting city wide efforts <br /> to havë engravers in all pililic wildings to encourage participation in <br /> Operation Identification¡ Hays/Caldwell Council on Drug Abuse, participants <br /> assist in canpiling m:r statistics and other drug and alcohol rraterial for <br /> presentations to the public ¡ San Marcos Lioness Club, participants assisted in <br /> child fingerprinting and bicycle registration program¡ San Marcos NeighOOrl100d <br /> Association, participants encourage residents to actively involve. themselves <br /> in a Neighborhood Watch program¡ San Marcos Independent School District, school <br /> officials provide the t.iIœ for criIre prevention officers to make presentations <br /> within the claSS:roœ1S. The other civic and business organizations in the <br /> carmuni ty such as Lions, Rota1:y, and Sertana have provided formns in which <br /> criIœ prevention training can be given. <br /> 4.
