<br /> 74 <br /> CARTOGRAPHY AGREEMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, hereinafter <br /> referred to as "City", wishes to use digitized data base maps <br /> and overlays in its ongoing public information, data <br /> management, and decision-making processes¡ and, <br /> WHEREAS, Southwest Texas State University, hereinafter <br /> referred to as "University", shall use certain computer <br /> technology, namely, a Numonics digitizer, Envision color <br /> graphics terminal, Envision color graphics printer, DEC 10 <br /> main frame computer, Houston Instruments plotter, or similar <br /> and additional equipment, in order to provide such digitized <br /> data base maps for the City over the next five (5) years from <br /> the execution of this agreement; <br /> The City and University agree as follows: <br /> SECTION I. <br /> A. The City shall provide the University with the following <br /> from which the University shall assemble a digitized data <br /> base: <br /> 1. Aerial photography of the San Marcos area. <br /> 2. Thoroughfare Plan from the City's Master Plan. <br /> 3. San Marcos River Corridor Boundaries Map. <br /> 4. San Marcos City Limits map. <br /> B. The City shall provide the information enumerated in <br /> this section within ten (10) days of the execution of this <br /> Ag reement. <br /> SECTION I 1. <br /> A. The Uni vers i ty shall prov ide the City with maps, <br /> overlays and services as follows: <br /> 1. The University shall assemble a Digital Data Base <br /> using the Texas State Plane Coordinate System from the <br /> information provided in Section I.A., within 120 days of <br /> receipt by the University of such information. <br /> 2. The University shall maintain the data base <br /> described in Section LA. for a period of five (5) years from <br /> the execution date of this Ag reement. The University shall <br /> make any adjustments to the data base as needed by the City <br /> during said five-year period. <br /> 3. During the term of this Agreement, the University <br /> shall provide the City with data base maps and/or overlays in <br /> compliance with any reasonable City order, and within 14 days <br /> of such order. Except as provided by this Agreement, sole <br /> payment or reimbursement for orders shall consist of the <br /> reasonable costs of materials on which such maps and/or <br /> overlays are printed. <br /> 4. Maps and overlays, referred to in Section ILA.3, <br /> shall accurately depict the following information based on <br /> the information provided in Section I: <br /> a. San Marcos city limit boundaries. <br /> b. Two-mile extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) <br /> boundary. <br />
