Production of the documents in accordance with FM Advisory <br /> Circulars 150/5070-6, Airport Master Plans, and 150/5900-lB <br /> Planning Grant Program as appropriate. ' <br /> B. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> The Task- Descriptions provided herein below are intended to <br /> satisfy the objectives previously stated above. The work will be <br /> conducted in full compliance with all applicable criteria, including <br /> FM Advisory Circular 150/5070-6, and will be co- ordinated, as joint- <br /> ly found appropriate by city and contractor with the Federal' Aviation <br /> Administration, the Texas Aeronautics, the Capital Area Planning COUn- <br /> cil (CAPCO), the Transportation Task Force of the IH-35 Corridor <br /> Council, the Commissioners Court for Hays County, and the city <br /> offices of San Marcos, including the Planning and Zoning Commission, <br /> the J?e~ent of Public Works, the City's legal staff and the airport <br /> camu.sSl.oners. <br /> TASK DESClUPTIONS <br /> Task 1 - Inventory and Review of Pertinent Doct:IIƓnts <br /> This task will consist of a review of existing pertinent <br /> documents, including previous planning studies, and collection of <br /> addi tional data essential to achieving the objectives of the Study. <br /> Data collection will be comprehensive in scope, but every effort will <br /> be made to avoid the collection of superfluous or unnecessary informa- <br /> tion. Information sources will include the Federal Aviation Mmi.ni.s- <br /> tration, the Texas Aeronautics Commission, the appropriate state, <br /> county and city offices, the universities in the area, and other <br /> sources as required. Emphasis will be placed on local inquiry and <br /> investigation to develop this information. <br /> A survey and inventory of existing San Marcos airport fac- <br /> ilities will be undertaken to establish basic data that will be useful <br /> in determining the future role of the facilities in the airport devel- <br /> opment program. The inventory and survey will be designed to produce <br /> sufficient information to develop preliminary judgments relative to <br /> future airport development. No soil borings or subsurface investi- <br /> gations will be taken as a part of this study, but soil studies done <br /> in connection with other San Marcos airport projects will be con- <br /> sidered. <br />
