<br /> 1.5.3 Prepare and assist the Owner in making application for <br /> the necessary highway and railroad right-of-way permits and <br /> highway and railroad crossing permits. <br /> 1.5.4 Construction staking. <br /> 1.5.5 Investigate alternate alignments for Main and University <br /> Interceptors. <br /> 1.5.6 Preparation and issuance of Addenda made necessary by <br /> Owner1s requested changes or modifications which are inconsistent <br /> with written approvals or instructions previously given or are due <br /> to other causes not solely within Engineer's control. <br /> 1.5.7 Resident Project Representation. <br /> 1.5.8 Providing any other services not otherwise included in <br /> this Agreement or not customarily furnished in accordance with the <br /> standard of care exhibited by Engineers who possess special <br /> expertise in the type of work involved in this project. <br /> 1.6 TIME <br /> 1.6.1 The Engineer shall submit to the Owner within 150 days <br /> of the execution of this contract, the final contract documents, <br /> plans and specifications. As used herein the term "final" <br /> contract documents, plans and specifications shall be interpreted <br /> to mean the contract documents, plans and specifications as <br /> reviewed and finally approved by the Owner. The time that <br /> documents, plans and specifications are being reviewed by Owner <br /> that delay Engineer's progress on this contract shall not be <br /> counted in the 150-day limitation. In addition, delays caused by <br /> Owner related to information or documents to be supplied by Owner <br /> shall not be counted in the ISO-day limitation. <br /> ARTICLE 2 <br /> THE OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> 2.1 The Owner shall provide full information regarding <br /> requirements for the project(s). Such information may include a <br /> program, which shall set forth the Owner's design objectives, <br /> constraints and criteria, including space requirements and <br /> relationships, flexibility and expandability, special equipment <br /> and systems and site requirements. <br /> -12- <br />
