<br /> required by the Contract Documents and assembled by the <br /> Contractor; shall issue a final Certificate for Payment or take <br /> other appropriate action; and shall make a recommendation to Owner <br /> regarding Owner1s acceptance of the Project. <br /> 1.4.13 The extent of the duties, responsibilities and <br /> limitations of authority of the Engineer as the Owner's <br /> representative during construction shall not be modified or <br /> extended after the Contract Documents have been authorized to be <br /> competitively bid without written consent of the Owner and the <br /> Engineer and with notice to the Contractor. <br /> 1.4.14 The Engineer shall prepare and submit to the Owner a set <br /> of reproducible record drawings showing significant changes in the <br /> Work made during the construction phase. <br /> 1.4.15 Basic horizontal and vertical control points will be <br /> established by the Engineer for the Owner1s benefit. All other <br /> surveying during this phas e shall be the responsibility of the <br /> Contractor. <br /> 1.5 ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> For the purposes of this Contract, addi"tional services will <br /> be considered to be all services not included in the basic <br /> contracted services as identified under Article 1, excluding <br /> Sections 1.5 and 1.6 and as identified under Article 12, of <br /> this Contract. Additional services shall be provided if <br /> authorized or confirmed in writing by th Owner as provided in <br /> this agreement, and compensation shall be in addition to that <br /> specified for basic services. Compensation for additional <br /> services shall be at the standard cost times multiplier basis <br /> as shown in Exhibit A. Additional services shall include but <br /> not be limited to the following potential work items. <br /> 1.5.1 Making revisions in Plans, Specifications or other <br /> documents when such revisions are inconsistent with written <br /> approvals or instructions previously given or are due to other <br /> causes not solely within the control of the Engineer. <br /> 1.5.2 Additional copies of Contract Drawings, Specifications, <br /> and other Contract Documents other than those provided for in <br /> paragraph 1.2.3 hereof as a part of Basic Services. <br /> -11- <br />
