<br /> AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br /> WHEREAS, the Joint Planning and Zoning Commissions of the
<br />City of San Marcos held a public hearing on February 18, 1986,
<br />regarding a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the
<br />Master Plan from Low Density Residential and Permanent Open
<br />Space/Floodplain to Commercial for that parcel of land containing
<br />1.1564 acres (50371 square feet) located in the J.M. Verarnendi League
<br />No. 1 in said City; and,
<br /> vlliEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said
<br />Commissions did, on February 18,1986, consider said request and
<br />voted to approve the same and have recommended that such request be
<br />approved by the City Council of said City; and,
<br /> vlliEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the 24 day
<br />of March ,1986, regarding such request; and,
<br /> {oVREREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to
<br />amendments have been met; and,
<br /> ~lliEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public
<br />heal th, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br />BE IT REffiLVED BY 'IHE CI'IY COUNCIL OF THE CI'IY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> PART 1. That the following described tract of real
<br />property located in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is in an
<br />area shown on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan of the
<br />Ci ty of San Marcos as Low D:msi ty Residential and Permanent Open
<br />Space/Floodplain shall be shown on said map as Commercial:
<br /> A parcel of land containing 1.1564 acres (50371 square feet) out
<br /> of the J.M. Verarnendi League No.1, Hays County, Texas, and
<br /> lying within that approximate fifty acre tract conveyed by will
<br /> G. Earber to Arnulfo Lucio by that deed dated 17 October 1905,
<br /> filed 17 October 1905, and recorded on 19 October 1905 in Volume
<br /> 48, pages 548-550 of the deed records of said county; this fifty
<br /> acre tract is that same tract conveyed by Manuel Lucio, Eþifania
<br /> Lucio, Jose Lucio, Monica Lucio, Isadora Rodriguez, and Dimas
<br /> Rcxkiguez to Mrs. Guadalupe Lucio by that deed dated 14 November
<br /> 1936, filed 25 November 1936, and recorded on 1 December 1936 in
<br /> Volume 112, pages 330-332 of the said deed records. This 1.1564
<br /> parcel is identical to that tract conveyed by Mrs. Guadalupe
