Noises Prohibited <br />A. In addition to the specific prohibitions <br /> outlined in Subsection B of this section, it <br /> is unlawful for any person to make, <br /> continue, or cause to be made or continued <br /> any noise disturbance within the corporate <br /> limits of the City of San Marcos, Texas. <br />B. The following sounds are hereby determined <br /> to be specific noises which constitute a <br /> noise disturbance and are in violation of <br /> the San Marcos Noise Ordinance: <br /> 1. Horns, Signaling Devices - The <br /> sounding of any horn or signaling <br /> device on any truck, automobile, <br /> motorcycle, emergency vehicle or <br /> other vehicle on any street or <br /> public place within the corporate <br /> limits of the City of San Marcos, <br /> Texas, except as a danger warning <br /> signal as provided by the Texas <br /> Uniform Act Regulating Traffic on <br /> Highways, Article 670ld, Texas <br /> Revised Civil Statutes, or the <br /> sounding of any such signaling <br /> device for an unnecessary and <br /> reasonable period of time. <br /> 2. Radios, Television Sets, Musical <br /> Instruments and Similar Devices - <br /> Using, operating or permitting the <br /> use or operation of any radio <br /> receiving set, musical instrument, <br /> television, phonograph, drum or <br /> other machine or device for the <br /> production or reproduction of <br />
