Phillips and others. <br /> Mayor Younger called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. <br /> Mr. Coddington moved the Council adjourn into Executive Session at <br /> 5:33 p.m. pursuant to Article 6252-17, §§2(e), (f) and (g), V.A.C.S., <br /> to discuss matters where the duties of the City Attorney to the City <br /> pursuant to the Code of Pro£essional Responsibility of the State Bar <br /> of Texas clearly conflicts with Article 6252-17 (negotiation of contract - <br /> purchase of LCRA), exchange of real property and duties of a public <br /> officer or employee, respectively, and Mr. Brown seconded the motion, <br /> which passed unanimously. <br /> Mr. Farr moved the Council reconvene at 7:23 p.m. and Mr. Brown second- <br /> ed the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval to establish an <br /> Advisory Committee for the purchase of an electrical system and direction <br /> to Staff. Mr. Farr moved to establish an Advisory Commitee of fifteen <br /> members, two names to be submitted from each Council Member and three <br /> names from the Mayor and that information will be provided to the Advisory <br /> Committee directly from the City's negotiating team; all names are to <br /> be submitted to the City Secretary by Wednesday, May 8, and that the <br /> Board Members must meet the following criteria: (1) be residents of <br /> the City of San Marcos, (2) be rate payers of LCRA, and (3) not be a <br /> member of any other electric cooperative, and Mr. Coddington seconded <br /> the motion. Mr. Coddington moved to amend the motion that each Member <br /> of the Advisory Committee be required to sign a Letter of Confidentiality, <br /> such letter to be prepared by City Attorney Hankins and submitted to the <br /> Mayor for approval, and Mr. Farr seconãed the motion, which passed unani- <br /> mously. On roll call of Mr. Farr' s motion the Council voted unanirrously 'for <br /> approval. The following names were placed in nomination, and the Coun- <br /> cil's formal appointments will be made at the May 12 Regular Meeting: <br /> Brown: Mary Borm, and one additional name to be submitted. <br /> Coddington: Charles Nash, Dr. Gene Martin. <br /> Farr: Jay Moore, Dick Moncure. <br /> Younger: Austin Curlee, Larry Franks, Jack Cates. <br /> Guerra: Eugene Rios, and one additional name to be submitted. <br /> Kissler: Patty Sullivan, Emmie Craddock. <br /> Nicola: Steve Lee, R.
