<br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING 'IRE FU'IURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP)
<br />OF 'IRE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, FOR 0.581 ACRES
<br />Of LAND OUT OF 'IRE J .M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO.1, CITY OF
<br />SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING A fORTION OF
<br />THAT TRACT OF LAND CDNVEYED 'ill J. GARLAND WARREN BY ALEX
<br />G. TIJERINA BY DEED DATED JULY 22, 1969 AND RECORDED IN
<br />VOLUME 232, PAGE 17, HAYS CDUNTY DEED RECORDS, LOCATED
<br />ON 'IRE EOU'IR SIDE OF 'IRE 1600 BWCK OF ÞQUARENA SPRINGS
<br />DRIVE, FROM HIGH DENSITY RESIDENTIAL 'ill COMMERCIAL;
<br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, on March 18, 1986, the Joint Planning and Zoning
<br />comnissions of the City of San ~1arcos held a public hearing regarding a
<br />request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan
<br />from High Density Residential to Commercial for 0.581 acres of
<br />land, more or less, out of the J.M. Veræœndi League No.1, Hays
<br />County, Texas, in said City; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said
<br />Commissions did, on March 18, 1986, consider said request and
<br />voted to approve the sarœ and have recornrnended that such request be
<br />approved by the City Council of said City; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the day
<br />of , 1986, regarding such request; and,
<br />
<br />vlliEREAS, all requirements of the Master Plan pertaining to
<br />amendments have been met; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public
<br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT REEOLVED BY THE CITY CDUNCIL OF 'IRE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br />
<br />PART 1. That the following described tract of real property
<br />located on the South Side of the 1600 Block of Þquarena Springs Drive,
<br />San Marcos, Hays County, Thxas, which is in an area shown on the Futuœ
<br />Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as
<br />High Density Residential shall be shown on said map as Commercial:

<br />BEGINNING at an iron pipe found t the North corner of the said
<br />Warren tract, for the North oorner of the tract herein
<br />described, sarœ being on the South line of Texas State Highway
<br />IDop No. 82, and being the Fast corner of that tract of land
<br />conveyed to H. Garland Stokes by M.D. Heatly by deed dated
<br />January 3, 1973 and recorded in Volume 255, page 670, Hays
<br />County Deed Records;
<br />
<br />THENCE, leaving the said Stokes tract with the South line of the
<br />said Texas State Highway Loop No. 82, the Northeast line of the
<br />said Warren tract, N 86°25' E, 215.88' feet to an iron pipe
<br />found at the Fast corner of the said ~varren tract, for the Fast
