;• • HALFF Page <br />• Low Impact Design (LID) shall be per the City of San Marcos guide. <br />The Design Phases of the Project will be developed under the following TASK DESCRIPTION: <br />Task 1: Project Management. <br />1.1 Project Meetings: <br />1.1.1 Halff Associates will attend a regular bi- monthly project meeting with City to <br />review and discuss project progress and issues. In addition, a review meeting <br />will be held with City following the each submittal of the Engineering Plans. <br />Typically, three members of Engineer's team will attend these meetings. Meeting <br />minutes will be prepared and submitted to City within forty eight (48) hours after <br />each meeting. <br />1.1.2 Halff Associates will attend up to two (2) meetings as requested by the City to <br />coordinate with adjacent property owners and developers. <br />1.2 Coordination with Texas State University: Halff Associates will meet with Texas State <br />University to discuss and coordinate the addition of a new sidewalk on the university campus <br />to connect to the proposed Old RR 12 pedestrian elements. The design of that sidewalk is not <br />included in this scope. <br />1.3 Coordination with TxDOT: Halff Associates will meet with TxDOT staff to discuss and <br />review the proposed design of the roadway. This task will include the preparation of requests <br />for design exceptions from TxDOT. <br />1.4 Progress Reports: Prepare and submit progress reports to the City monthly per the <br />Professional Services Agreement. The progress reports will include: <br />Summary of progress of work tasks, key decisions that require input from or discussion with <br />City staff, and a list of problems or unresolved issues. All issues shall be recorded on a <br />project "issues list" identifying the issue, the date it was a known issue, person responsible <br />for the solution, and the date the solution is required. <br />1.5 Records Management: The Engineer shall maintain a project file at their office that is <br />available to City for review within twenty four (24) hours upon request. <br />1.6 Contract Administration: Engineer will administer the Professional Engineering Services <br />Agreement in accordance with the prescribed contract terms. Invoices will be prepared and <br />submitted to City on a monthly basis. Engineer will develop the schedule and will keep the <br />schedule current, with revisions made only with the expressed approval of City. <br />Task 2: Design Phase Services <br />2.1. Utility Coordination: <br />2.1.1. Please see Attachment B for the proposed scope Utility Coordination <br />2.2. Hydraulic Analysis <br />This task will include the development of a detailed hydraulic analysis of the proposed Old <br />RR 12 roadway improvements with respect to local drainage patterns. <br />Old RR 12—Design—Option 1 <br />
