ppp HALFF Page 12 ATTACHMENT B PROPOSED SCOPE FOR UTILITY COORDINATION FOR Old RR 12 Bike/Ped and Widening Project San Marcos, Texas Scope of Services provided by Halff involves Utility Coordination on Old Ranch Road 12 from Craddock Avenue to West Holland Street in San Marcos, Texas, as described below: 1. PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND COORDINATION 1.1. Halff, in association with the City of San Marcos, will be responsible for coordinating activities associated with SUE and utility coordination for the Project. 1.2. Project Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC). Halff will provide internal and comprehensive quality assurance /quality control reviews throughout the Project development in order to appraise design, technical and business performance and provide real -time direction and objective solutions. All reports, agreements, and supporting documents, submitted to the City of San Marcos shall undergo QC reviews prior to submittal. A project manager /engineer will perform the QA/QC function. 1.3. Coordination Meetings. Halff will participate in coordination meetings with the City of San Marcos throughout the project. Halff will not prepare meeting minutes for these meetings (3 meetings anticipated). 1.4. Progress Reports. Halff will prepare and submit monthly progress reports to the City. The progress reports will include a summary of the progress of work tasks, key decisions that require input from or discussion with city staff, and a list of problems or unresolved issues. 2. UTILITY COORDINATION Halff shall perform Utility Adjustment Coordination, and Utility Engineering services for Utility Providers. Halff will perform utility adjustment coordination services related to the potential adjustment of the following six (6) utility providers on Old Ranch Road 12: • CenturyLink Telephone / FOC • American Tower FOC • CenterPoint Energy Gas • Time Warner Cable TV • Grande Communications FOC • City of San Marcos Water / Wastewater / Electric The work to be performed by Halff under this contract shall consist of providing utility coordination management services required for Utility Adjustment Coordination, and Utility Engineering on the Project. These services include Utility Adjustment Coordination, and Utility Engineering activities including but not limited to, meeting and contact with utilities on the project, initial project notifications, preparation of existing utility layouts, providing progress reports, preparation of Old RR 12—Design—Option 1
