Call to Order and Announce a Quorum is Present With a quorum present, regular meeting of the San Marcos City Council was called to order by Mayor Daniel Guerrero at 5:02 p.m. on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 in the Council Chambers of the City of San Marcos City Hall, 630 East Hopkins, San Marcos, Texas 78666. 3. S:OOPM Executive Session in accordance with � 551.072 of the Texas Government Code: Real Property - to deliberate a proposal from the San Marcos River Foundation to acquire Farm Lots 25 and 27, from the Meeks Family and sell or dedicate the property to the City of San Marcos for park purposes; and in accordance with � 551.072 of the Texas Government Code: Real Property - Consider the acquisition of a 0.321. acre tract of land at the intersection of State Highway 80 and the IH -35 Frontage Road for right - of -way purposes and the Award of Special Commissioners in the condemnation matter styled State of Texas et al. v. Lumberton Investments, Ltd., Cause No. 13- 0588 -C, in the Hays County Court at Law No. 1; and in accordance with � 551.087 of the Texas Government Code: Economic Development - To deliberate and receive a briefing regarding Proiect Triangle from Greater San Marcos Partnership President Adriana Cruz; and in accordance with 051.074 of the Texas Government Code: Personnel
