Compensation is based on a firm fixed. price (lump sum), per- cent of construction cost, or on a time and materials basis. The following outlines the flat rate time and materials compensation basis in effect at this time. Hourly Fees for Professional and Technical Staff Hourly fees for various professional and technical categories are shown below. 1. Principal $85 2. Project Manager $63 3. Engineer $58 4. Engineer-in-Training $42 5. Field Services Manager (Construction or Operations) $50 6. G eologis t $55 7. Inspector $35 8. Administrative Technician $32 9. Draftsman/Technician $29 10. Secretary $25 11. Clerical $18 Overtime hours, if authorized by the client, are paid to non exempt (hourly, non- supervisory) employees on the basis of one and one-half times the hourly rate. Expert Testimony A surcharge of 50% shall be added for expert witness testimony '01' participation in hear- ings or depositions. Surveyin&: Surveying will be billed at $70.00/hr. This rate reflects the crew cost with no extra charge for ED M. $13.00/hr. is added for each member over three. Project related expenses are charged as follows: 1. Out-of-pocket expenses (travel, telephone, hotels, meals, etc.): cost plus 10%. Per diem charge for subsistence may be negotiated in lieu of expenses tor daily hotels and meals. 2. Subcontractors (consultants, soils, etc.): cost plus 10%. 3. Passenger cars, pickup trucks: $0.25 per mile. 4. Photocopy: $0.12 per page. 5. Computer time: $25/hr. 6. Blueprints: according to IN reproduction rates - available upon request.
