Three of the four bidders <br />did include the necessary hardware in their bid. The Board <br />of Directors for the Hays County Central Appraisal District <br />accepted the bid that they felt would do the best job for <br />the taxing units as well as the Appraisal District, not <br />only relating to software capabilities but also hardware <br />quality and maintenance. C.P.S. Business Systems were <br />the only bidders to offer a single vendor arrangement that <br />would caver both software and hardware maintenance. <br /> <br /> <br />( .. ... <br />While I agree that the hardware you will require may be <br />purchase.d -tram other sources, please keep in mind that <br />some of the equipment will have to be altered to be com- <br />patible with the C.P.S. system.
