M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO. 1, CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING A PORTION OF THAT TRACT OF LAND CONVEYED TO J. GARLAND WARREN BY ALEX G. TIJERINA BY DEED DATED JULY 22, 1969 AND RECORD- ED IN VOLUME 232". PAGE 17, HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE L600 BLOCK OF AQUARENA SPRINGS DRIVE, FROM 11M" (SINGLE, DUPLEX AND NEIGHBOR- HOOD BUSINESSES DISTRICT) TO "c" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT); AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak in favor or in opposition to the zoning request. Patsy Greiner was present representing the owner of the property, Garland Warren, to answer any questions of the Council. No one else wished to speak in favor or in opposition, so Mayor Younger closed the public hearing. Ms. Kissler moved for adoption of the Ordinance and Mayor Younger seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as fol- lows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 (VOL. 6 6) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOT 30 OF THE CITY VIEW ADDITION, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, AS SHOWN ON THE MAP OR PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN VOLUME 129, PAGE 363 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, A/KIA 1107 GRAVEL STREET, FROM "MF-411 (MULTI-FAMILY DISTRICT) TO "R-llI (SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT); AND DECLAR- ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak in favor or in opposition to the zoning request. No one did, so Mayor Younger closed the public hearing. Mr. Coddington moved for adoption of the Ordinance and Ms. Kissler seconeded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 (VOL. 66) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOTS 2-51 OF THE BLANCO TERRACE ADDITION WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AS SHOWN ON THE MAP OR PLAT THEREOF RE- CORDED IN VOLUME 2, PAGE 100 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS, LOCATED ALONG HARPER DRIVE AND NORTH OF EAST BUGG LANE ON RIVER ROAD, FROM IIMF-4" (MULTI-FAMILY DIS- TRICT) TO "MR" (MOBILE HOME AND RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT): AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mr. Nicola moved for adoption of the Ordinance and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion, which passed unanimously.
