M. VERAMENDI LEAGUE NO. 1, CITY <br /> OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING A PORTION OF <br /> THAT TRACT OF LAND CONVEYED TO J. GARLAND WARREN BY <br /> ALEX G. TIJERINA BY DEED DATED JULY 22, 1969 AND RECORD- <br /> ED IN VOLUME 232". PAGE 17, HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, <br /> LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE L600 BLOCK OF AQUARENA <br /> SPRINGS DRIVE, FROM 11M" (SINGLE, DUPLEX AND NEIGHBOR- <br /> HOOD BUSINESSES DISTRICT) TO "c" (COMMERCIAL DISTRICT); <br /> AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished <br />to speak in favor or in opposition to the zoning request. Patsy <br />Greiner was present representing the owner of the property, Garland <br />Warren, to answer any questions of the Council. No one else wished <br />to speak in favor or in opposition, so Mayor Younger closed the public <br />hearing. Ms. Kissler moved for adoption of the Ordinance and Mayor <br />Younger seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br />adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as fol- <br />lows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br /> WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF <br /> BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 <br /> (VOL. 6 6) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOT 30 OF THE CITY <br /> VIEW ADDITION, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> AS SHOWN ON THE MAP OR PLAT THEREOF RECORDED IN VOLUME <br /> 129, PAGE 363 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, A/KIA <br /> 1107 GRAVEL STREET, FROM "MF-411 (MULTI-FAMILY DISTRICT) <br /> TO "R-llI (SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT); AND DECLAR- <br /> ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished <br />to speak in favor or in opposition to the zoning request.
