<br />80 <br />Regular Meeting June 9, 1986 Page 6 <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br />adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as <br />follows: <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, M1ENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br /> WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF <br /> BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 <br /> (VOL. 66) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOT 22 OF THE <br /> J. M. STONE ADDITION, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF <br /> SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS SHOWN ON THE MAP <br /> OR PLAT THEREOF, RECORDED IN VOLUME 52, PAGE 438, HAYS <br /> COUNTY DEED RECORDS, LOCATED AT 1008 MEAD STREET, FROM <br /> IIMF-4" (MULTI-FAMILY DISTRICT) TO "MR" (MOBILE HOME AND <br /> RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT); AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak in favor or in opposition to the zoning request. No one did, <br />so Mayor Younger closed the public hearing. John Clark, <br />one of the owners of the property, was present to answer questions of <br />the Council and stated it had been approved by the Zoning Commission. <br />No one else wished to speak in favor or in opposition to the zoning <br />request, so Mayor Younger closed the public hearing. Messrs. Codding- <br />ton and Guerra expressed concerns for the traffic in the area. Ms. <br />Kissler then moved to table this matter to the July 9 meeting for <br />more information to come to the Council regarding the traffic concerns <br />and citizens' concerns of the area. <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and <br />adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: <br />
