<br /> 9 <br /> Regular Meeting June 23, 1986 Page 7 <br /> Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br /> the caption which was read as follows: <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCE <br /> ZONE ANNUAL REPORT TO TAXING UNITS, AUTHORIZING THE <br /> MAYOR TO SIGN THE REPORT, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br /> DATE. <br /> Mr. Farr moved for adoption of the Resolution, and Mayor Younger <br /> seconded the motion which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br /> the caption which was read as follows: <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT BY THE CHIEF <br /> OF POLICE OF JAMES FREDERICH WISENER AND RICHARD LESTER <br /> HOWELL AS MEMBERS OF SAID CITY'S POLICE RESERVE FORCE, <br /> APPROVING THE REMOVAL BY THE CHIEF OF POLICE OF CECELIA <br /> MARIE HUBBARD AND EDWARD J. RADICKE FROM THE POLICE <br /> RESERVE FORCE, AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> Mr. Coddington moved for adoption of the Resolution and Mr. Farr <br /> seconded the motion which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Resolution, <br /> the caption which was read as follows: <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THAT RESOLUTION ADOPTED <br /> JUNE 9, 1986, WHICH APPROVED THE SUBMISSION OF A TEXAS <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM GRANT APPLICATION TO <br /> THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR THE <br /> AREA REVITALIZATION FUND TO MORE FULLY EXPLAIN THE <br /> PURPOSE OF THE APPLICATION IN PART 3 OF SAID RE- <br /> SOLUTION AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> Mr. Guerra moved for adoption of the Resolution and Ms. Kissler <br /> seconded the motion which passed unanimously. <br /> Mayor Younger introduced for consideration award of bid for Cock House <br /> Restoration and Addition. Dr. Gwen Smith of the Heritage Association <br /> approached the podeum. She stated that the Heritage Association <br /> has recommended to the Council to reject the bid and authoriz~ re- <br /> bidding at a later date due to the rather high bids received. Mr. <br /> Jeff Kester, Architect, approached the podeum and explained the <br /> reduction of work necessary for the new specifications for the bidders <br /> should the Council wish to act on the Heritage Association's rec- <br /> commendations. Mr. Farr moved to reject all bids on the Cock House <br /> Restoration and Addftion and authorize re-bidding at a later date and <br /> Mayor Younger seconded the motion. On roll call the following vote <br /> was recorded: <br /> FOR : Coddington, Farr, Younger, Guerra, Kissler <br /> AGAINST : Nicola <br /> ABSTAIN : None <br />
