Mr. Farr moved to award the bid to <br />Eiler's Construction Company, Inc. for the bid of $170,563.50 <br />and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration award of bid for the <br />PBX Communications Phone System. Mr. Guerra moved to award the <br />bid to Guadalupe Valley Communications Systems, Inc. for the <br />ITT 3100 System for the bid of $59,414.00 and Mr. Farr seconded <br />the motion. Mr. Coddington stressed his concern for awarding <br />the bid at this time. He urged the Council to wait until the <br />Public Works Complex was completed. He further went on and urged <br />the Council to reject the bids and authorize bidding at a later <br />date. On roll call the following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />FOR: Farr, Guerra, Kissler, Nicola <br /> <br />AGAINST: Coddington, Younger <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration authorization to bid for <br />Communications Control Center Console for Police Department. Mr. Farr <br />moved for authorization to bid and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion. <br />Mr. Coddington moved to table this item to the Special Meeting to be <br />held June 27, 1986 and Mr. Guerra seconded the motion. Mr. Coddington <br />advised the Council that he had not been advised that the specifi- <br />cations were made available for review. Other members of the <br />Council concurred with Mr. Coddington. The Council voted unani- <br />mously to table the item until the June 27, 1986 Special Meeting. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration authorization to request <br />proposals for a Needs Assessment Study for Police and Fire Facility. <br />Mr. Nicola moved to table this item until the July 14, 1986 Regular <br />Meeting and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion. On roll call the <br />following vote was recorded: <br /> <br />FOR: Coddington, Younger, Guerra, Nicola <br /> <br />AGAINST: Farr, Kissler <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration the salary compensation <br />for the Full-time Municipal Court Judge. Mr. Coddington moved <br />to set the annual salary for the Full-time Municipal Court Judge at <br />$33,500.00 and Mayor Younger seconded the motion which passed <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration approval of the dates <br />for the Council/Staff Workshop Retreat. It was by consensus of <br />the Council that the dates for the Retreat would be July 10,11 & <br />12, 1986. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced discussion of Capital Improvements <br />Program (CIP) for 1986-1987. Mr. Coddington moved to table this <br />item until the Workshop Meeting prior to the Regular Meeting to be <br />held July 14, 1986. The Workshop will be held at 6:00 p.m. Ms. <br />Kissler seconded the motion which passed unanimously. <br />
