Specific project descriptions follow:

Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority Plan

Under the auspices of Texas Transportation Institute, Lisa G. Nungesser served
as Principal Investigator to develop a transit service plan for San Patricio
and Nueces Counties and Corpus Christi. The plan included an assessment of
area demographic and economic trends and transportation needs. It resulted in
recommended bus service expansion to include regional park-and-ride lots,
express bus service, expanded elderly and handicapped paratransit services,
creation of a transportation borkerage, and possible high speed water passenger
transportation, work and beach circulator services. Corpus Christi and Nueces
County voters approved the plan in August, 1985 and provided for the creation
of the Regional Transportation Authority on January I, 1986.

Population and Dwelling Unit Distribution for Bexar County, Texas 1985-2005

In 1985 L. Nungesser, Inc. developed the population and dwelling unit distri-
bution for Bexar County. This included demographic analysis of household size
trends as well as geographic analysis of developable land. For each 5 year
increment, Lisa Nungesser distributed population forecasts into the 599 traffic
serial zones. Coordinated through the area Metropolitan Planning Organization,
this will serve as input to the forthcoming long-range transportation plan for
the City of San Antonio and county.

San Antonio-Bexar County Long-Range Transportation Plan

From 1978 to 1981, while a planner at the Texas State Department of Highways
and Public Transportation, Ms. Nungesser managed development of a twenty-year
thoroughfare plan for road improvements through the year 2000. Coordinated
with area local, state and federal agencies, this plan involved assessment of
existing transportation conditions and demand estimation for future needs.
Based on analysis of existing and forecast roadway deficiencies, planners
developed a long-range plan for coordinated improvements that still serves as
San Antonio's long-range highway/road plan.

10
