<br />Randolph Region Long-Range Transportation Plan <br /> <br />In 1981, while a planner with the Texas State Department of Highways and Public <br />Transportation, Lisa Nungesser managed the transportation plan for the area <br />around Randolph Air Force Base. The plan elements consisted of socio-economic <br />factors, transportation facilities, public transportation options, travel pat- <br />terns, financial resources and environmental impacts. The plan's official <br />adoption by the Community Council of the Randolph Region, Cibolo, Converse, <br />Live Oak, Schertz, Selma, Universal City, Randolph Air Force Base, Bexar and <br />Guadalupe Counties and the City of San Antonio attests to the principal's <br />ability to synthesize various interests and coordinate needs into a comprehen- <br />sive, workable, support plan to guide individual transportation investments <br />into an effective system of improvements. <br /> <br />Socio-Economic/Demo~raphic Study, McAllen, Texas <br /> <br />Texas Transportation Institute developed complete socio-economic and land use <br />planning data for the urban transportation study area. This included develop- <br />ment of base year population, income, land use and special generator informa- <br />tion and forecasts of these data for the year 2000. Lisa G. Nungesser served <br />as Principal Investigator for the study. Staffs of McAllen, Alamo, Pharr, and <br />the Texas State Department of Highways and Public Transportation provided <br />development data, land use plans and traffic analysis zonal structure for this <br />study. <br /> <br />Client references for L.
