<br /> CITY OF SAN MARCOS <br /> ELECTRIC TARIFF <br /> ISSUED BY: SHEET NO. <br /> <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE: REV:SION NO. <br /> <br /> RESIDENTIAL SERVICE <br /> RATE SCHEDULE - RS <br /> MONTHLY RATE (continued) <br /> The above rate per kWh will be adj usted pI us or minus in <br /> accordance with the formula specified in the Power Cost Adjust- <br /> ment Clause. The amount computed at the "Monthly Rate" shall be <br /> subject to taxes, assessments or surcharges imposed by any gov- <br /> ernmental authority which are assessed on the basis of revenues <br /> from electric service or volume of electricity purchased or sold <br /> by the City. <br /> MINIMUM CHARGE <br /> The monthly minimum charge shall be the sum of the "Customer <br /> Charge" and all applicable rate adjustments. <br /> PAYMENT <br /> The due date of the bill shall be fifteen (15) days after <br /> issuance, and payment must be received in the electric utility <br /> office of the City by 5:00 P.M. on the due date. Any and all <br /> amounts remaining unpaid after the due date shall be assessed a <br /> charge in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the unpaid amount. <br /> INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE <br /> The City will make reasonable provisions to insure satisfac- <br /> tory and continuous service, but does not guarantee a continuous <br /> supply of electrical power and energy and shall not be liable for <br /> damage occasioned by interruptions of service or failure to com- <br /> mence delivery caused by acts of God, or the public enemy, or for <br /> any cause reasonably beY°!J.d its control, including, but not <br /> limited to the failure or breakdown of facilities floods, fire, <br /> strikes, or actions or orders of any agency having jurisdiction <br /> in the premises, or for interruptions which are necessary for <br /> inspection, repair, or changes in equipment or facilities of the <br /> City or its bulk power suppliers. <br /> The Customer shall notify the City immediately of any de- <br /> fects, trouble or accident which may in any way affect the <br /> delivery of electric service by the City. <br /> FINAL DRAFT 9/5/86 - 3 - <br />
