<br /> V. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: <br /> A. Monitor this project by site visit and perform an <br /> Administrative Evaluation to insure compliance with the <br /> contract, including, but not limited to contract require- <br /> ments concern~ng: <br /> l. Manpower deployment, scheduling and assignments in <br /> accordance with operational plans. <br /> 2. Level of enforcement and public information and educa- <br /> tion activities. <br /> 3. Time and cost documentation of all expenditures. <br /> 4. Compliance with project reporting and reimbursement <br /> requirements of the State. <br /> B. Reimburse the Contractor for all eligible costs shown below <br /> up to the maximum amount eligible for reimbursement shown <br /> on Page 1 of this contract: <br /> Personal Services: <br /> l. Actual cost of base wages for STEP employees except that <br /> the contractor will not be reimbursed for wages earned <br /> by officers above the rank of Lieutenant when earned for <br /> patrol duty. Cost of officer court time is allowed if <br /> court appearance occurs during STEP hours and testimony <br /> is relevant to a STEP arrest. <br /> Other Direct Cost: <br /> 1. Mileage (not to exceed 23 cents per mile) <br /> C. Provide such technical assistance as may be requested by <br /> the contractor to carry out the provisions of this <br /> contract, to th e limits of available State resources. <br /> VI.
