<br /> PARAGRAPH I - GENERAL DESCRIPTION <br /> ARTICLE I - LOCATION OF JOBSITE <br /> The Municipal Airport of San Marcos, Texas is located <br /> approximately three miles east of interstate highway <br /> 1-35 and south of state highway 21. The airport entrance <br /> is indicated by a sign on the south side of highway 21. <br /> ARTICLE 1.2 - JOBSITE INSPECTION <br /> A jobsite inspection by prospective bidders may be arranged <br /> by contacting Mr. Jack Doughty, Airport Manager, during <br /> normal business hours Monday through Friday at Area Code <br /> 512 Telephone 353-4444. While at the airport visitors <br /> will abide by "Standard operating procedures and regulations". <br /> A copy of this manual can be obtained from Mr. Doughty. <br /> ARTICLE 1.3 - JOB DESCRIPTION <br /> Work to be done is on one 10,000 gallon above ground skid <br /> mounted storage tank used for Jet A storage, one skid <br /> mounted pump/filter unit for Jet A fuel and standard underground <br /> storage tanks, one tank has a nominal capacity of 8,000 gallons <br /> and two tanks have a nominal capacity of 2,000 gallons. The <br /> tanks are used to store 100 LL aviation gasoline. <br /> PARAGRAPH II - AVIATION GASOLINE SYSTEM <br /> NOTE: The AVGAS SYSTEM will have AVGAS in the underground tank. <br /> Contracter shall arrange with the fixed base operator to <br /> ~rovide fuel for their fueling truck as required while work is <br /> ln progress. <br /> ARTICLE 2.1 <br /> Disengage electric power and remove existing above ground fueling <br /> equipment and dispose of as directed by aiport manager. <br /> ARTICLE 2.2 <br /> Pour concrete pad for AVGAS and JET fueling skid. Pads will be <br /> a minimum of four inches thick. <br /> ARTICLE 2.3 <br /> Fabricate and install new AVGAS fueling skid on concrete pad. <br /> See drawing SM 1000, Sheet No. Two. <br /> ARTICLE 2.4 <br /> Uncover existing tank openings and remove pipe and fitting from <br /> tanks. <br /> - THREE - <br />
