Slope all lines one inch per foot <br /> up from tanks to skid. <br /> ARTICLE 2.8 <br /> Install new four inch manual gauge lines as shown on drawing <br /> SM 1000 Sheet No. Three <br /> ARTICLE 2.9 <br /> Before connecting pump suction lines and tank fill lines to <br /> tanks plug all openings and raise air pressure to 75 PSIG. <br /> Pressure should hold steady for a minimum of ten minutes. If <br /> pressure does not hold steady find leaks and repair. Retest <br /> ARTICLE 2.10 <br /> Dig trench for vent lines and install vent pipes. Pipes shall <br /> be black steel, schedule 40, and slope up from tanks to fence <br /> at a pitch one inch to one foot. <br /> ARTICLE 2.11 <br /> Plug vent lines, and connect pump suction and tank fill lines <br /> to tank openings. Raise pressure in tanks and pipes to five <br /> PSIG. DO NOT EXCEED. Test system for leaks. If leaks are <br /> found, repair and retest. Maintain pressure for a minimum of <br /> one hour. <br /> ARTICLE 2.12 <br /> After system has been tested and proved to have no leaks, coat <br /> all exposed threads and fittings with an approved asphalt coating. <br /> ARTICLE 2.13 <br /> Install vent pipe risers and secure to each other and to fence. <br /> ARTICLE 2.14 <br /> Backfill all trenches as shown on drawings. <br /> PARAGRAPH III - JET FUEL SYSTEM <br /> - FOUR - <br />
