<br /> NOTE: Contractor will have the option, of furnishing a new <br /> Jet Fuel Tank and fueling skid or using the existing Jet Fuel <br /> Tank and fueling skid. Price for the Existing tank and skid <br /> can be negotiated with the present owner. The name of the <br /> present owner can be obtained from the Airport Fixed Base <br /> Operator, GT plus 3. <br /> ARTICLE 3.1 <br /> Should contractor choose to furnish the existing tank and skid <br /> the following modifications must be made: <br /> A) Install new three inch steel coupling as shown on drawing <br /> SM 1000 Sheet No. Three. <br /> B) Install new four inch coupling as shown on drawing. <br /> C) Install new one inch as shown on drawing. <br /> D) Install new eight inch emergency vent and flange <br /> E) Sand blast interior of tank to bare metal <br /> F) Coat interior of tank with white epoxy resin. Cook's or <br /> equal. <br /> ARTICLE 3.2 <br /> Should contractor elect to furnish new above ground tank and <br /> fueling skid, the tank will be as manufactured by Watco Tank <br /> Co., Lavernia, Texas or approved equal. The tank will have <br /> fittings as shown on drawing SM 1000 Sheet No. three. The <br /> fueling skid will be simi1iar in design to existing fueling <br /> skid. <br /> PARAGRAPH IV - EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS AVGA8 <br /> Contractor will furnish a skid mounted pump/filter unit as <br /> shown on 8M 1000 Sheet No. Two <br /> ARTICLE 4.1 <br /> Pump will be a positive displacement type with Viton mechanical <br /> shaft seal and an integral pressure relief valve adjustable <br /> from 25 to 80 PSIG. Pump shall have a cast iron or ductile <br /> iron housing and steel gears with stainless steel output <br /> shaft. Housing shall have 1- 1/4 inch FIPT inlet and outlet. <br /> Pump shall be a Roper model 2AM30 or approved equal. <br /> ARTICLE 4.2 <br /> Electric motor shall be single phase. .115/230 Volt, 1800 RPM, <br /> 60 Hertz, three horsepower minimum and have Underwr i ters/Label <br /> for Class I, Group D, Division 1. <br /> ARTICLE 4.3 <br /> Coupling guard shall be fabricated form black hot rolled steel <br /> sheet metal, 12 gauge minimum and painted red or safety orange <br /> - FIVE - <br />
