Agreement with C &G Development, Ltd., for the construction of a lift station related to <br />the development of 99.2 acres of land at Wonder World Drive and Craddock Avenue, <br />and providing for the extension of electric service to the lift station; authorizing the City <br />Manager to execute said agreement; and declaring an effective date. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Thomaides and a second by Council <br />Member Porterfield, the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve the <br />consent agenda, with the exception of item 17 and 18, which were considered separately. The <br />motion carried unanimously. <br />(17) MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Prather and a second by Council <br />Member Thomaides, the City Council voted (7) for and none (0) opposed, to approve. The <br />motion carried. <br />(18) MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Becak and a second by Council <br />Member Prather, MOTION TO AMEND: Upon a motion made by Council Member Becak and <br />a second by Council Member Prather, the City Council voted (7) for and none (0) opposed, to <br />amend 2.4.1 to allow consent of assignment by the City Manger. The motion carried <br />unanimously. MAIN MOTION: the City Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) opposed, to <br />approve Resolution 2013 -162R, as previously captioned. The motion carried. <br />Public Hearing <br />19. 00PMReceive a Staff presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for <br />or against Ordinance 2013 -62, approving an amendment to the Preferred Scenario Map <br />from an Area of Stability to a Medium Intensity Zone for 192.804 acres more or less <br />such land being generally located south of Yarrington Road between 11135 and Post <br />Road and extending south to the Blanco River more specifically described as follows: a <br />50.339 acre tract, a 54.966 acre tract and a 50.003 acre tract all out of the William Ward <br />Survey No. 3, Abstract No. 467, Hays County and Lots 1, 2, 3, 6 thru 16, 23, 24 and 25 of <br />the Champions Business Park Subdivision, Hays County, consisting of approximately <br />37.494 acres more or less; and including procedural provisions; and consider approval <br />of Ordinance 2013 -62. <br />A presentation was provided by Matt Lewis, Director of Planning and Development Services. <br />Mayor Guerrero opened the Public Hearing at 7:52 p.m. <br />Ocie Vest, Dallas TX, addressed the Council and that they are approve what staff has approved <br />and asked for the Council's positive consideration <br />Diane Wassenich, addressed the Council regarding the flooding that recently occurred along the <br />Blanco River and asked that the Council review the incoming photographs showing the recent <br />flooding in that area. She doesn't want any mistakes or deaths by building in floodways or <br />floodplains. Not speaking for or against this item, but wanted Council to consider the possible <br />issues. <br />
