ORDINANCE NO. 2013 -64 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS DEDICATING VARIOUS TRACTS OF REAL PROPERTY IN THE AREA COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS THE "SESSOM GREENSPACE" LOCATED IN AND AROUND THE PARK ADDITION SUBDIVISION OFF OF SESSOM DRIVE BETWEEN LOQUAT STREET AND CHESTNUT STREET FOR PARK PURPOSES; AND INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS. RECITALS: 1. The Parks and Recreation Board has recommended that the City Council formally dedicate for park purposes certain tracts of real property and portions of rights -of -way in the area commonly referred to as the " Sessom Greenspace" located in and around the Park Addition Subdivision off of Sessom Drive between Loquat Street and Chestnut Street. 2. The City Council wishes to dedicate for park purposes said tracts of real property to bring these tracts within the restrictions imposed by Section 3.07(b)(1) of the City Charter. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. The tracts of real property described below, all as shown in the map in Exhibit "A," are hereby dedicated as parkland for all lawful park purposes and uses, including, but not limited to, natural areas, trails, playgrounds, park related roads and parking areas, recreational facilities and sports facilities: a. All of Lots 45 -49 of the First and Second Division of the Park Addition, a subdivision in Hays County, Texas, according to the map or plat thereof recorded in Volume 54, Page 420, Deed Records of Hays County, Texas; b. All of Lots 86, 93 -95, 100 -103 and 109, of the Third Division of the Park Addition of Hays County, Texas , according to the map or plat thereof recorded in Volume 56, Page 46 of the Hays County Plat Records; c. All of Lot 69 of the Third Division of the Park Addition of the City of San Marcos, a subdivision in Hays County, Texas, according to the map or plat thereof recorded in Volume 56, Page 47, Hays County Deed Records; d. That certain tract or parcel of land in the City of San Marcos, Hays County, Texas out of the T.J. Chambers League, referred to as part of Lots 132 and 133 and all of Lots 134 and 136 -142 of the Fourth Division of the Park Addition to the City of San Marcos, an unrecorded plat, each as described by metes and bounds in the Deed from Lou H. Froh, Executor of the Estate of Joe C. Froh, Jr., to the City of San Marcos, recorded in Volume
