<br />DAILY LOG CODES <br /> <br />In order to keep the year's end statistics simple for everyone <br />concerned, the following codes are to be used in filling out the daily <br />log sheets. Simply enter the code in the space headed 8Reason8 and <br />any comments necessary. Please use only one line for each stop made, <br />and be sure to include the date, time and address. <br /> <br />I - <br /> <br />v - <br /> <br />S - <br /> <br />C - <br /> <br />R - <br /> <br />Inspection - This code is to be used whenever a customer is <br />checked for comp1iance with the Industrial Waste Ordinance, a <br />grab sample is collected for analysis or a return visit is made <br />due to a previous ordinance violation. <br /> <br />Interview - This code is to be used whenever an initial interview <br />is held with a new customer. <br /> <br />Sampler In or Out - This code is to be used whenever an automatic <br />sampling device is installed or removed. The same code is used <br />for composite samplers, sequentia1 samplers, flow recorders, and <br />pH/Temp recorder. <br /> <br />Counciling - This code is to be used whenever a counciling <br />session has been arranged for the purpose of correcting an <br />infraction of the code. Do not use this code when the <br />conversation on an inspection turns into a counci1ing session. <br /> <br />Research - This code is to be used when further information must <br />be gathered on a customer in order for the Industrial Waste <br />Section to have a complete file and comply with EPA locating and <br />identifying point source discharges from large customers is an <br />example of the use of this code. <br /> <br />No code is necessary <br />official business. <br /> <br />when stopping at <br /> <br />City <br /> <br />facilities <br /> <br />owned <br /> <br />on <br /> <br />-80- <br />
