<br />Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished
<br />to speak in favor or in opposition to the zoning change. No one
<br />did, so Mayor Younger closed the public hearing. Mr. Guerra moved
<br />for adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Ms. Kissler seconded the
<br />motion, which passed unanimously (Mr. Coddington not present to
<br />vote on this item).
<br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and
<br />adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, the caption which was read as follows:

<br />stated she was present representing the owners of the property, Messrs.
<br />Wheelock and Robbins, to answer any questions of the Council. No one
<br />else wished to speak in favor or in opposition, so Mayor Younger closed

<br />Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to
<br />speak in favor or in opposition to the zoning change. Marilyn Green
<br />who lives off Post Road spoke in opposition to the zoning change, stat-
<br />ing there is flooding on the property and that the development would
<br />add more traffic congestion. She stated she wanted the property of
<br />the surrounding area to be zoned R-l until such time as Post Road is
<br />developed into four lanes. She said the runoff has not been addressed
<br />for drainage on Post Road for drainage with the Post Road improvements
<br />that are to be made (paving only), which may cause possible pollution
<br />to the river. Tom Watts, representing the owner of the property, Mr.
<br />Keene, stated the property was zoned 11M" when it was purchased (Karl
<br />Brown present at this time 9:35 p.m.). Mr. Watts stated Mr. Keene had
<br />tried to meet the concerns of the neighborhood. No one else wished to
