G. COLLIER SUBDIVISION NEAR SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, <br />TEXAS, A PORTION OF THE J. M. VERAMENDI SURVEY, HAYS <br />COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 108, PAGE 34, OF <br />THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS AND 0.135 OF AN ACRE OF <br />LAND OUT OF AND APORTIONOF THE J. M. Marilyn Green <br />spoke in opposition to the zoning change, stating she did not under- <br />stand why out-of-town developers get the zoning they want and long- <br />time residents who request zoning changes do not. Mayor Younger <br />stated the Council had an obligation to follow the Master Plan and <br />Ms. Kissler stated the Planning and Zoning Commissions make recommen- <br />dations to the Council and she tries to follow those recommendations. <br />No one else wished to speak in favor or in opposition, so Mayor <br />Younger closed the public hearing. Ms. Kissler moved for adoption of <br />the Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Coddington seconded the motion.
