51 Regular Meeting July 14, 1986 Page 7 Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak in favor or in opposition to the zoning request. No one did, so Mayor Younger closed the public hearing. Mayor Younger moved for adoption of the Zoning Ordinance and Mr. Coddington se- conded the motion. On roll call the following vote was recorded: AYE: Coddington, Farr, Younger, Kissler, Nicola. NAY: Brown, Guerra. ABSTAIN: None. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, FOR 5.6234 ACRES OF LAND (244,953 SQUARE FEET) BEING THE SAME LAND CALLED THE SECOND TRACT IN A CONVEYANCE FROM A. B. ROGERS AND WILL G. BARBER TO EDWIN C. WILLIS, VOLUME 107, PAGE 130, DEED RECORDS, CITY OF SAN MARCOS, T. H. w. FORSYTH SURVEY, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE 1700 BLOCK OF RANCH ROAD 12, FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL¡ AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to speak in favor or in opposition to the land use request. Patsy Greiner was present representing the owners of the property, and stated the property is to be developed as a commercial complex to serve the west side of the city. No one else wished to speak in favor or in opposition to the land use request, so Mayor Younger closed the public hearing. Mr. Coddington moved for adoption of the Resolution and Ms. Kissler seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mayor Younger introduced for consideration a public hearing and adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, FOR 3.942 ACRES CON- SISTING OF THE FOLLOWING TRACTS: TRACT 2: 0.90 ACRES BEING THAT PORTION OF BLOCK 1, OF THE D. S. COMBS ADDI- TION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS; TRACT 3: 3.15 ACRES CONSISTING OF 8 TRACTS, ALL OF SAID TRACTS BEING A PORTION OF FARM LOT 12, SAID TRACTS BEING LOCATED IN CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS ALONG BOTH SIDES OF THE 600 AND 700 BLOCKS OF WEST SAN ANTONIO STREET, FROM MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL, .AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
