M. VERAMENDI <br />LEAGUE NO. ONE (1) IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, BEING <br />ThAT TRACT OF LAND DESCRIBED AS THIRD TRACT AS CONVEYED TO <br />MAX C. SMITH, ET AL, BY O. C. SMITH AND COMPANY, INC. BY <br />DEED DATED JULY 31,1969, AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 232, PAGE <br />149, HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS AND (TRACT 2) 0.12 OF AN <br />ACRE OF LAND, MORE OR LESS, OUT OF THE J. M. VERAMENDI <br />LEAGUE NO. ONE (1) IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, <br />TEXAS, BEING PART OF PROPERTY CONVEYED BY SANTIAGO TURNINE, <br />ADMINISTRATOR OF THE ESTATE OF JESUS R. COMPOS, DECEASED, <br />TO JULIAN RIVERA, BY DEED DATED NOVEMBER 13, 1920, AND <br />RECORDED IN VOLUME 79, PAGES 623-624, HAYS COUNTY DEED <br />RECORDS, A/K/A 201, 203 AND 205 GROVE STREET, AND 500 AND <br />502 HULL STREET, FROM "LD" (LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) TO <br />"I" (INDUSTRIAL) AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to <br />speak in favor or in opposition to the land use amendment. Patsy Greiner <br />stated the neighbors had been recontacted and had no objections. No <br />one else wished to speak in favor or in opposition, so Mayor Younger <br />closed the public hearing. Ms. Kissler moved for adoption of the <br />Resolution and Mr. Farr seconded the motion. On roll call the follow- <br />ing vote was recorded: <br /> <br />AYE: Brown, Farr, Younger, Guerra, Kissler, Nicola. <br /> <br />NAY: Coddington. <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Younger introduced for consideration adoption of a Zoning Ordinance, <br />the caption which was read as follows (Public Hearing was held on this <br />matter June 9,1986): <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE <br />WHICH REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF <br />BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13,1984 <br />(VOL. 66) BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF TRACT 1: 0.50 ACRE <br />OF LAND IN THE J. M. VERAMENDI SURVEY NO. ONE (1) IN THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING THAT TRACT <br />OF LAND DESCRIBED AS THIRD TRACT AS CONVEYED TO MAX C. <br />SMITH, ET AL, BY O. C.
