<br /> 93 <br /> RESOLUTION 1985-10R <br /> A RES)LUTION AP PRO VI]'\(; A JOINT ELæTION AGREEMENT <br /> BETI'ÆEN THE CI'IY OF SAN ~1ARCOS TEXAS, AND THE SAN <br /> MARCOS CONffiLIDATED INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE <br /> HOLDING OF AN ELæTION ON APRIL 6, 1985; AUTHORIZING <br /> WE MAYOR OF SAID CITY 10 EXæUTE SAID AGRE EM ENT ON <br /> BEHALF OF SAID CI'IY AND DæLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, hereby <br />finds and determines that it is in the best interest of said City for <br />the City to cooperate with the San Marcos Consolidated Independent <br />&::hool District in the holding of the general city election on April 6, <br />1985; and, <br /> WHEREAS, said School District is willing to participate in the <br />holding of a joint election on that date; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT REs)LVED BY 'IRE CI'IY COUNCIL OF 'IRE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. That the Joint Election Agreement between the City of San <br />l\1arcos, Texas and the San Marcos Consolida ted Independent School <br />District for the holding of tl1e general city election of April 6,1985, <br />a copy of which agreerœnt is attached hereto and incorporated herein <br />for all intents and purposes, is hereby approved in all respects. <br /> PART 2. That the Mayor of said City, Etmnie Craddock, is hereby <br />authorized to execute said Joint Election A:Jreement on behalf of the <br />City of San Marcos. <br /> PART 3.
