<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS:
<br /> SECTION 1. That the terms and conditions of the sale
<br />by the City of San Marcos, Texas of a tract of land
<br />containing 0.01 acres, said tract being more particularly
<br />described by metes and bounds as follows, to-wit:
<br /> BEING A PORTION OF LOT 2, BLOCK 20, ORIGINAL TOWN
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 46, PAGE 448,
<br /> HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, AS CONVEYED TO THE CITY
<br /> OF SAN MARCOS BY MRS. BERT E. NORRIS BY DEED DATED
<br /> MAY 1, 1935, AND RECORDED IN VOLUME 109, PAGE 388,
<br /> HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, AND BEING MORE
<br /> PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS, TO-WIT:
<br /> BEGINNING at a point on the West line of the said
<br /> Lot 2, same being on the East line of Lot 1, Block
<br /> 20, Original Town of San Marcos, same being the
<br /> Northeast corner of the 0.14 acre tract of land,
<br /> more or less, conveyed to Indifree Investments,
<br /> Inc., by Tom G. Ezell, Trustee by deed dated August
<br /> 20, 1984 and recorded in Volume 462, Page 307, Hays
<br /> County Deed Records, for the Northwest corner of
<br /> the tract herein described~
<br /> THENCE, leaving the said Lot 1 and the said
<br /> Indifree 0.14 acre tract, N 81o28'E, 3.55 feet to
<br /> an iron stake set for the Northeast corner of the
<br /> tract herein described;
<br /> THENCE, S08°17'E, 72.16 feet to an iron stake set,
<br /> for the Southeast corner of the tract herein
<br /> described~
<br /> THENCE, S81°44'w~ 3.55 feet to a point on the West
<br /> line of the said Lot 2, same being the East line of
<br /> the said Lot 1, and being the East line of the said
<br /> Indifree 0.14 acre tract, for the Southwest corner
<br /> of the tract herein described~
<br /> THENCE, with the West line of the said Lot 2, same
<br /> being the East line of the said Lot 1, and being
<br /> the East line of the said Indifree 0.14 acre tract,
<br /> N08 ° 1 7 ' W, 72.14 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING,
<br /> containing 0.01 acres of land~
<br />to Indifree Investments, Inc. are hereby approved.
<br /> SECTION 2. That the consideration for said property
<br />as stated in the foregoing recitals be, and the same is
<br />hereby, approved.
<br /> SECTION 3. That the Mayor of said City, Emmie
<br />Craddock, be, and she is hereby, authorized to execute a
<br />general warranty deed to Indifree Investments, Inc. from
<br />said City for said property upon the execution of a general
<br />warranty deed by Indifree Investments, Inc. to the City
<br />conveying the above-described property. as consideration for
<br />this conveyance by City.
<br /> SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall be in effect
<br />ten (10) days from and after its passage and after its
<br />publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the
<br />area.
