<br /> retirement benefits, Iœdical and insurance benefits, sick <br /> leave, vacation and holiday pay applicable thereto. (Salary <br /> Cost is currently equal to 1.39 times salary payments. This <br /> factor adjusted annually.) <br /> O'IRER DIRECT EXPENSE: Actual Cost Times Multiplier of 1.15 <br /> Other direct expenses shall include printing and reproduction <br /> expense, communication expense, travel, transportation and <br /> subsistence away from Austin and other miscellaneous expenses <br /> directly related to work, including costs of laboratory <br /> analysis, tests, and other work required to be done by <br /> independent persons or agents other than staff members. <br /> METHOD OF PAYMENT <br /> Payable rronthly as accrued and billed. <br /> E. OWnership of Documents. Drawings, Calculations, Specifications, <br /> and working documents as instruments of service are the property of the <br /> Engineer whether the work on which they are made is executed or not <br /> and the Engineer will retain in his files the originals of such <br /> drawings, calculations, specifications and working doct.nœnts. The City <br /> has the right to review and obtain copies of any project <br /> dœurnents at any reasonable time. <br /> F. Standard of Care. Engineer agrees to perform its duties to <br /> the highest standards of the engineering profession. However, Engineer <br /> will not be responsible for faulty data or information supplied to it <br /> by City or any third party not Engineer's agent, contractor or employee <br /> unless the reliability of said data or information should have been <br /> questioned by Engineer through the exercise of reasonable diligence and <br /> ordinary care. <br /> G. Termination of Contract. This Contract may be terminated or <br /> the scope of work may hereunder be modified at any tire without penalty <br /> or liability except as may otherwise be specified herein, provided the <br /> Engineer will be entitled to corrpensation for work completed prior to <br /> such termination. <br /> H. SUccessors and Assignments. The City and the Engineer, each <br /> binds himself, his successors, executors, administrators, and assigns <br /> to the other party to this agreement, and to the successors, executors, <br /> administrators, and assigns of such other party with respect to all <br /> covenants of this A:Jreement. Except as above, neither the City nor <br /> the Engineer shall assign, sublet or transfer his interest in this <br /> Agreement without the written consent of the other. <br /> I. Time for Contract Performance. The Preliminary Phase of this <br /> Project is projected for completion four (4) weeks fra.m the date of <br /> execution of this agreement. Cue to the nature of the Project, no <br /> specific deadline is agreed to between the parties.
